This stunning daisy brooch is from France. Native to Europe, the daisy is a favourite in the hearts of Europeans that - not only is it the national flower of Italy - it also has at least 35 aliases in England. The French master jeweler brought it from the wilderness into a lady's jewelry box. This is a lovely piece, with brilliant round-cut diamonds forming the stamens of the daisy and its petals paved with rubies. The curled part of the petals is a realistic reproduction of the flower's soft movements in the wind.
